Alongside the evaluation practice, North Asheville Psychologist provides
behavioral health consulting to skilled nursing and long-term care facilities.
Consulting services
- Behavior support planning — individualized, least-restrictive
behavior plans for residents with complex behavioral presentations, built to be
implemented by the staff who are actually on the floor.
- Staff training and coaching — practical in-service training for
nursing and direct-care staff on behavioral approaches, documentation, and
de-escalation.
- Interdisciplinary team support — psychology's seat at the IDT
table: care-plan input, behavioral consultation, and support for difficult
placement and transfer decisions.
- Documentation review — behavioral documentation and care planning
reviewed with regulatory expectations in mind, so the chart tells the story a
surveyor needs to see.
